2 Wheels

She did it!

She managed to go from a wobbly few feet on her little sister's bike,
to cruising on her "big girl" training-wheel Free bike in just two days!
We couldn't be prouder of her!!!

~How do they get big so darn fast?!~
I love her.

Father's Day

A belated but loving Father's Day wish to our girls wonderful Grandpa's who
love them and dote on them so much!
Dad, Rich, Alan... you all have been so great to our family, I know how truly
blessed I am!
And to Lila and Elle's amazing Daddy, who I cannot thank enough for being with me
through the wildest ride of my entire life.   I can't imagine doing this with anyone else!
We love you so much!

Father's Day was spent in mostly relaxed fashion... (aside from the minor dog poop fiasco).
A breakfast of french toast, fresh coffee, and morning snuggles, then we had a great lunch with my Mom and Alan and enjoyed the unexpected nice weather that evening on the porch.

~How can you not love a daddy loving on his daughters ... or seeing them love on him?!~

~ The "beans" had lunch with Grandpa Alan~

Happy Father's Day to all those with that special title!!!

Kiddos

This week has been kinda messed up.
Honestly... my brain is a chaotic mess.
As my Dad would always tell me... "it's a good thing your head is
attached or you'd lose that too".

Each day I tell myself to get it together, focus, take one thing at a time.
Each day I manage to forget something. Or lots of things.
Dammit.

So, once again, I have left without my memory card with all the house
photos on it.  No new house pics to share
(sorry Angie.... I know you've been asking!  Hurry up and get home
and come see it for yourself!)

Instead, I will share a few phone photos from the past week or so.
The girls have been loving their school and the new house!
We've met a few neighbors, and they've made a few new friends too!
We are slowly settling in and feeling less like I live in a warehouse.

Maybe someday I'll feel more organized and less forgetful.
Like around October or something.
Maybe.

The hounds are settling back in with the family nicely!
This is my view most mornings... I think they missed me! :)
Me and my girls :)
I love the little art projects and drawings the girls bring home from school!
Speaking of school... it's was "Crazy Hair Day" this week

It was also "Face Painting Day"

As well as "stuffed animal Day"!!
We've made a little time for snuggling
and when they need more, they come sleep on the floor of our bedroom in the middle of the night!

Maybe next week will be better.
More organized and at least a smidge more settled.
Or not.
And I guess thats ok.  I've got some pretty awesome people
helping me hang on to my sanity, so I'll count myself blessed!

Spring program and a few other random things

I promise I'll get a post up about the move, but I'm still so overwhelmed
and I don't have any of that crap together yet.
Pretty much, I don't have anything of ANYTHING together yet.
What a chaotic mess... ugh.
Anyway...

Last Wednesday, the girls school had a little Spring program
which, of course was darling!!

They sang some songs, and Lila participated in a Bollywood dance!
SO CUTE!

I love that they know the whole song "What a wonderful World"
and do the whole thing in sign language!
I love that they are exposed to so many different cultures
I love their school!
I love them!

**I tried uploading a few videos, but for some reason, Blogger keeps giving me an Error message**
Grrrrr......

anyway.
And here are a few random photos of the few quite snuggly moments we've had
in the midst of our craziness!

~I love these little ones!~
